IT Technician

Location: San Diego Regional Office
Salary: $23.76 to $31.41 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary

Working as part of the Projects Team, this IT Technician will help roll out new projects to our clients. You will be setting up and configuring new desktops, mobile devices, network equipment, cyber security systems, surveillance and access control systems as well as installing software, fixing basic client problems, and occasionally picking up or delivering equipment to client sites – out of both our San Diego Central and North County offices. The position is primarily based out of our San Diego Regional office.

Responsibilities

• Perform root-cause analysis and resolution
• Ticketing and service documentation; time entry and management skills
• Resolve and escalate issues that require additional support
• Adhering to client SLA’s (service level agreements) and team performance goals
• Research knowledge base articles for technical solutions and configurations

Qualifications & Skills

• Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience.
• One (1) year experience as an IT professional.
• Windows 10 and 11 desktop support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and/or Azure.
• Microsoft Office Application skills.
• Bonus points: Experience supporting Windows or Linux Server.
• Bonus points: Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS.
• Bonus points: Experience using Active Directory, Entra ID, and/or Google Workspace.
• Bonus points: Experience with configuring network systems.Benefits

  work in diverse client environments as onsite work is required for this role.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional work offsite.
• CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals Certification, or commitment to obtaining certification within
  3 months
